Summer Veggie Pasta

1 package pasta
1 16oz package Farmer John mild sausage
1 cup finely chopped zucchini
1 cup finely chopped summer squash
1 cup finely chopped yellow crookneck squash
1 heirloom tomato, roughly chopped
4-5 cups pre-made pasta sauce

  1. Cook pasta as directed.
  2. I diced the zucchini and squashes in my mini food processor until they were very finely diced (but not pureed).
  3. Cook sausage in large pan until no longer pink. Drain fat. Add zucchini and squashes, cook for 4 minutes. Add pasta sauce to desired thickness.
  4. Serve sauce over pasta.
